At LifeSaver Software, we like to say we're an accidental business because our journey began with a simple favor for a friend in 1992. Dan had a buddy frustrated with the clunky, DOS-based software his framing franchise had to use. So, Dan built a better solution—one with a visual layout that was revolutionary at the time. This small act of innovation marked the birth of LifeSaver Software.
Soon after, we brought in Steve who became critical in the growth of the company, and not just from a sales standpoint. Steve fostered the culture of constant innovation and improvement, as well as the mantra that the team needed to all be rowing the same direction to achieve our goals. LifeSaver started to hit its stride once we started practicing these cultural habits.
In 1998, Dan and Steve re-wrote the entire code for PC, opening up a huge amount of possibilities for LifeSaver.
In 2002, Paul T. and Paul W. joined Dan as co-owners, propelling LifeSaver through the next couple of decades with a relentless focus on product innovation. We launched integrated payments, transforming LifeSaver Software into a powerful, all-in-one system. Then in 2014, we started developing our cloud version, and by 2017, we were the first in the framing space to offer a fully web-based software solution.
LifeSaver Software has been a labor of love for over 30 years, evolving through countless improvements. But some things never change—our commitment to innovation, integrity, and customer support remains at the very core of what we do. And we couldn’t do it without YOU!
